How did Lady Gaga pull off a makeup change mid-performance?

In an almost 12-minute long performance, Lady Gaga celebrated her biggest hits and her love for our country in the Super Bowl LI halftime show.

In the beginning of the performance, Gaga jumped from the top of the Houston stadium in a Swarovski crystal jumpsuit and matching boots, according to The Cut. She added a golden jacket with spiked shoulders with the outfit before changing into hot pants and glittery shoulder pads to finish her set.

All of Gaga's outfits were Versace designs. The Mother Monster's longtime friend, Donatella Versace, met up with Gaga before her performance.

Perhaps the most intriguing mechanic of the show was how Lady Gaga's makeup changed from a red studded eye look to a soft pink and purple eye shadow, all while keeping her winged eyeliner intact. You can take a tip from Gaga's playbook and create a smudge-proof wing.

Glamour reported Lady Gaga's makeup artist Sarah Tanno prepped Gaga's skin with Marc Jacobs Beauty Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer. Tanno then lined the singer's eyes with Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer and traced over that with Marc Jacobs Beauty Magic Marc’er Precision Pen Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Blacquer. All of these products are available at Sephora.

Following her halftime show performance, Lady Gaga announced the "Joanne" World Tour, which has a stop in Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center. The concert is currently set for Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
