Stepping Into the Newest Trends
In my past articles, I always like to mention something about shoes. So I thought, why not write a whole article dedicated to them. After all, shoes are the perfecting piece to any look.
This week I want to talk about everyday, trendy shoes that could be the perfect addition to your wardrobe.
1) Chunky & Colorful
This style has been making a huge wave recently. You may have seen your favorite celebrity sporting a pair of bulky & bright Balenciaga's, but dupes and knockoffs are being sold everywhere, even on Amazon. This shoe is unlike anything you’ve seen before. With its unique shape and electric colors, they are the perfect statement piece. This shoe paired with a staple outfit is all you need to stand out.
2) Perfect & Platform
The platform is one of my favorite shoe styles. The platform provides height without the discomfort of a high heel. They come in all shoe types, from boots to sneakers, so there’s a pair for any look you want to try. A platform boot can give a little edge to your style. For example, The very popular Doc Marten’s are an ideal platform boot. They come in different colors and materials and can be matched with practically anything. A platform sneaker can vary in styles as well. Some of the most exemplary are Rihanna’s Puma Creepers or the Superga 2790 sneakers. In my opinion, the platform sneaker is worth the purchase because they’re one of the best shoe types for everyday and on-the-go outfits.
3) Not-So-Basic Booties
Booties are definitely back on trend and with more unique styles being introduced, there are just so many options! My favorite aspect of these shoes is that they come in a variety of heel types. For example, a high heel bootie is great for going out, especially during the winter. Not only do they make your legs look great, but they also come in so many fun designs like snake print. If you’re looking for shorter bootie for a more casual look, there are still so many different styles. For example, a white pointed toe bootie is super cute and can add a little flair to an everyday ensemble. My favorite aspect of the current bootie trend is the fashionable and diverse design options. The variety of bright colors and prints allows so much room for creativity.
As I said, no outfit is complete without some outstanding shoes. So grab that pair you’ve been eye-balling, it’ll definitely be worth it!
