Our New Bachelor: Colton Underwood

I don’t know about you but these couple of season of the ABC’s The Bachelor, have not been as satisfying compared to my favorite season ever: Season 13 with Ben Higgens as the Bachelor! Let's face it Arie season was not up to par and the only good thing about Nick Viall’s season was it brought the viewers Rachel. Therefore, personally speaking, Colton Underwood could be a hit or miss. But before I get ahead of myself, I'm going to give you a profile of the new bachelor himself. Then you can decide if he is a great bachelor in the making.

First, Colton started and created a non-profit organization called “The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation”. This foundation is provided resources for research and support for people living with Cystic Fibrosis. His cousin, Harper, has Cystic Fibrosis and is one of the reasons he started his organization. Fun Fact: In three simple years the foundation has given nearly $100,000 in cash due to private and corporate donations.

Second, Colton was an NFL player. He used to play for the San Diego Chargers as a free agent but sadly his NFL career did have to end due to his injury. However, Colton does post throwback pictures on his Instagram of his football career.

Third, let's talk about Colton Underwood dating life. Some may not know that he did date a beautiful Olympian gymnast named Alexandra (Aly) Raisman. Apparently, the two was introduced by friends during a double date. The two, however, broke up in June of 2017. The next person, Colton dated that was in the public eye was Tia Booth. If you watched Bachelor in Paradise, you how that relationship played out.

Fourth, Colton has an older brother named Connor Underwood. Which according to Google and ESPN, his brother is a football defensive lineman who plays for Indiana State Sycamores and is a senior there as well. Their record as of this moment in 2018 is 7-4.

Lastly, Colton was named after the Indianapolis Colts. Maybe a factor to his name was the fact he was born on Super Bowl Sunday or maybe his parents really liked to the name Colton. This is still up for discussion, but Colton was born in Indiana and went to a high school in Illinois. Which is the prime location for Colts fans.
