Summer Denim Trends for 2017
Along with the revival of many trends, 2017 has also been the year of trying out new bold pieces. There has been a huge burst of different exaggerated styles of denim. From high-end couture brands, to popular online stores, and even local shops are taking part of this chic trend.
The most popular style of jeans are mid to high rise with a straight cut that goes down till slightly above the ankle. Most of these jeans tend to be light wash as well. These jeans can be worn with boots, heels, or flats.
The first trend is having very frayed bottoms on the jeans. The fray on the denim tends to be at least a few inches long and intended to be noticed.
The second trend is having different patches or designs on the denim. The most popular design would be a floral or star pattern going down the side of the pant legs or just a few around the pockets.
The third popular trend would have to be patchwork. Some jeans will look as though they are completely made out of different colors of jeans while other pairs will have a few different patches on the front of the pants. A new look is having the different denim pieces at the very bottom near the ankles or on the outside of the legs in a long strip.
The final and simplest trend would be the plain jeans as describes before. Its a very clean yet chic style of denim that can be worn easily.
