How to Add Tasteful Color to Your Wardrobe

Cool weather tends to be associated with gloominess and dark colors. But just because the temperature is cooler doesn’t mean that you need to sacrifice wearing colors!

It’s hard to show off your style once the weather gets too cold. So, what is the solution?

Jackets!

It’s easier than you think to find a jacket that matches your style. There are many different styles, from puffer jackets to barn coats. Once you find a style, color, and fit of a coat you like, it is easy to search to find one online you can order easily. Jackets tend to be one of the pricier pieces in our wardrobe, but they don’t have to be. Simply by searching sites like eBay and Depop you can find an exact match for a lower price!

The next clothing item to switch up is your pants.

Pants are not typically the first piece of clothing we think to switch up or have color. However, pants can easily become the statement piece of your outfit. A great trend that can help incorporate tasteful color and help elevate your style are plaid pants. Plaid can add muted or more subtle colors if that’s your preference. Solid colored pants, such as red, are also very popular right now because they're eye-catching, yet chic. There are so many different color combinations and patterns available, so you can be as bold as you want.

Bags are the easiest way to add color into your wardrobe because they’re easy to pair with your outfit. In fact, your bag could be the only piece with color and become a statement piece! There is an endless amount of style options when it comes to bags.

What adding color to any of these pieces have in common is they can all be the only item

you have on that is a pop of color. But, of course, they don’t have to be! Often times there is pressure for what colors and how many colors are deemed acceptable to wear in the winter. But wearing what makes you feel happiest and comfortable is all that is important!
