Its Semi-formal season, ladies! It is also time to find the perfect dress in a short amount of time. I have searched department store websites, but they end up being too pricey for a one time wear. I’ve also tried asking around for friends dresses to rent, but you don’t get the satisfaction of buying your own and picking from such a wide selection! I have searched high and low and finally found four of the best websites that college-aged women should shop at for all of their semi-formal occasions.
My all time favorite will always be Lulus.com. I have had so much success shopping their website! Although their price range can climb upwards of $200, they still have thousands of options below $60-$75. Lulus’ prices may be higher than most websites; however, their quality is great and they have a great spread of different styles of dresses. They have wrap dresses, little black dresses, velvet, sequins, and long sleeve: I mean think of any style and they have it. They even have their dress category separated with a formal and a cocktail dress category. This makes for easy shopping and time is saved!
Showpo.com is another amazing website, which has a solid price range and a more simple style of dress. If you are a classic-styled girl, I would definitely check out Showpo for a semi-formal dress. They have a nice color range in dresses and jumpsuits and a great selection of sophisticated and simple dresses. Hellomolly.com is a great option for a more daring, or trendy styled gal! They have a lot of dresses with unique hemlines, necklines, and details! Their price range is from $60 to $120 or so. Hello Molly has a trendier following and their accessories are the perfect addition to complete your semi-formal ensemble.
Last, but certainly not least, Princesspolly.com has a wonderful selection of dresses and jumpsuits for semi-formal! Princess Polly is stationed in Australia, which explains their beautiful styles. They have a great shoe selection with endless options and styles. Each one would go perfectly with a brand new dress.
