Milan Fashion Week Review

COUTURE IS AN ATTITUDE - That wasn't just the attitude at Jeremy Scott's Moschino show, but at all of Milan Fashion Week. From Women's March hats at Missoni to Justin Bieber tees at Dolce & Gabbana to the streets of Milan and soon, to your fall wardrobe, the Autumn/Winter Ready-to-Wear collections of Milan Fashion Week were full of attitude.

Whether it's in clothing, shoes, accessories, makeup or even hair, MFW designers definitely want to brighten up our perceptions of fall. At Versace, Gigi Hadid rocked bright - almost highlighter - yellow hair pieces, while Fendi made us see red with their red patent thigh high boots.

A surprising, if not long-overdue, feature of the show at Dolce & Gabbana was that they didn't actually feature models, but instead presented their fall line on "normal" people. Granted, these normal people were extremely good-looking and rather extraordinary in their own light, including second-generation celebrity, Sofia Richie and European sensation (and my personal favorite blogger), Negin Mirsalehi.

Moschino, as always, took overlooked aspects of every day life and made it into something beautiful and more importantly, meaningful. Turning shipping boxes, clothing hangers and actual trash into entire ensembles, Jeremy Scott made clear his disdain for "fast fashion" and the social, economic and environmental consequences it brings.
