Fashion of the Met Gala
The First Monday in May...Most of us know it as the start of finals week (ick!), but for everyone else in pop culture, it's the biggest and most exclusive red carpet event of the year: The Met Gala.
This year's event celebrated the opening of the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between" exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. Celebrity attendees were told to dress "avant garde" to pay tribute to the two design houses. While some played it safe (@Kim Kardashian West), others (like Katy Perry in Maison Margiela and Rihanna in Comme des Garçons) went all out for the night.
