The monochromatic look is great because it appears effortlessly put together and chic! Many celebrities such as the Kardashians, Rihanna, Beyoncé, etc. wear this style when they’re out and about. A popular color among them is a muted nude color that matches their skin tone or a very bright red.
This clean look can be used to look more dressed up and also to try something bold. The best thing about the style is depending on which color you decide to wear, you give off a different vibe. Wearing a bold color such as red, yellow, or purple can make you stand out. Or wearing a more muted color, such as a brown tone or white gives off a more clean and simple vibe. You can also play around with different shades of colors.
If you want to try to ease into this trend then a great color to start off with is black since it’s a color most of us have at least a few articles of clothing in. To accessorize this look, you can either choose items that match the color you're wearing or choose some pieces that are a color that compliment the color you're wearing. For example, if you're wearing all white you can pair that outfit with a red purse which will make it stand out more.
Depending on how this look is put together, it can be great for a more business casual setting such as a meeting or going to a nice restaurant. However it can be dressed down depending on the types of clothing you pair together and can be worn out with friends.
